This is my first time working with Lisa but certainly not the last. She came in to the team batting cleanup, that is, the proofreading leg of the race. But as the anchor she was wonderful in identifying, correcting, and modernizing my grammar in my fourth novel. For example, Lisa identified that Wright Patterson Air Force Base, was actually spelled Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, according to the USAF website. Now, what was amazing about that is this, I was born and raised not far from WPAFB and must have seen signs for that base a thousand times, but when I went to write it, I didn’t even notice I was omitting the hyphen. Loved working with Lisa. While some editors I’ve tried to work with from other, cheaper sites have been abrasive, sometimes bordering on insulting, when dealing with me, Lisa was nothing but courteous and effective in her edits of my work.
